This policy explains how we process personal data when you use the FutGPT web application (“Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy. We aim to comply with applicable laws (including GDPR-style principles where relevant) and local regulations in Turkey (KVKK) where applicable.
1. Data controller
The operator of the Service (“data controller”) is the entity publishing the application. For requests, use the contact or feedback channels provided on the site or in the app.
2. Data we process
- Account data: If you sign in with a third party (e.g. Google), we receive basic profile data allowed by that provider (e.g. user ID, display name, email).
- Usage data: Quiz scores, rankings, in-game preferences, and technical session records for security and abuse prevention.
- Technical data: Approximate location (country/region from IP), browser type, language preference, error logs.
- Cookies and similar technologies: For sessions, preferences, and — if enabled — advertising/measurement (see Cookie Policy).
3. Purposes
- Provide the Service, authenticate accounts, and maintain security;
- Operate game features (leaderboards, badges, friend leagues);
- Detect errors and improve performance;
- Meet legal obligations;
- With consent or legitimate interest, marketing and personalised ads (if ad networks are enabled).
4. Third parties and ads
If advertising (e.g. Google AdSense) is enabled, partners may use their own cookies and identifiers; ads may be personalised. See the partner’s privacy policy. You can manage preferences via device/browser settings.
We may use infrastructure such as Firebase (Google) for authentication and hosting; processing is subject to those providers’ terms.
5. Retention
We retain data as long as needed to provide the Service and as required by law. Anonymised statistics may be kept longer.
6. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing, object, and — where applicable — data portability. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. Children
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us so we can delete it.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date will change. Material changes may be announced additionally.
